We covered the story about how Google and YouTube denied US White House request to take down the blasphemy video about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In retaliation many things have been happening over the globe, from the attack on the Kenyans and the Libyan embassy’s of the United states to protests all over the world done by Muslims.
Today on the order of the Prime Minister Of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA has issued a country wide block and ban on YouTube and several other Google properties such as Google Drive, Google search etc.
Is this a mass retaliation against religious tolerance, should Google and YouTube be looking into the matter more seriously? Leave us your comments…
