As you may know, yesterday was Star Wars Day. So it’s only fitting that the geniuses at Wicked Lasers announced their new "Laser Saber," the closest thing to a real lightsaber we’ve ever seen. Gizmodo got the heads up on the new gadget. The Laser Saber mimics how lightsabers switched on and off in the Star Wars movies, with the beam creeping up the side of a plastic tube. Oh yeah, there’s a real (and dangerous) laser packed in there too.
The whole setup will cost you about $300. Check out the video below:
Are you ready to wield the world’s first and only LaserSaber – a radiant blade that pulses with energy.
LaserSabers are energized by the light of Wicked Lasers, harnessing the power of the force. The LaserSaber features an ultra smooth magnetic gravity system that can "power up" and "power down" the blade.
