Earlier this week, a Super Bowl ad for the Honda CRV featuring Matthew Broderick in a send up of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off appeared online. It’s quickly made the rounds on the Internet, garnering praise from places like the Los Angeles Times and Adweek. For those that haven’t seen it, it’s a brilliant send up of a modern-day Matthew Broderick acting like his character from the 1986 film, and it’s worth a watch.

Only two more days to go the most fanatic sports game of the year (Superbowl duh) and now yet another brand, Lexus has rolled out its own Timeline-like experience in an app with a fantastic ad. The Points of No Return app, is mimicked around the Facebook Timeline that features a chronological unrolling of events starting with the introduction of the Lexus GS 2008 model.

 

Lexus is promoting its GS 2013 model around the viral marketing campaign not only allowing users to interact with the app but also share it viral amongst friends. Less sais lets enjoy the video.
