The biggest IPO of the decade will be taking place next Wednesday. Yup you guessed it right that of Facebook. According to a report from Wall Street Journal, Facebook will file its paperwork for an Initial Public Offering on Wednesday the 1st of February 2012.
Facebook is already valued at around $100 billion, that being said that it will be the biggest tech IPO in history of the world. The WSJ also reports that Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley will manage the offering, and that Goldman Sachs will be “intimately involved.” That’s a blow for Goldman, which managed a billion-dollar private share offering for Facebook this time last year.
