Bing Brings On Quora To It’s Social Search Experience

A few months ago, Bing introduced a social sidebar that allows its users to connect with relevant friends and experts all within Bing. They’ve worked with numerous sites to better surface new categories of useful information. Today, Quora content will be surfaced in this sidebar to all Bing users in the U.S. helping them find relevant Quora content in an easy way without scrolling through pages of search results.

Both quora and Microsoft Bing announced this on their respective blogs.

Here’s a screenshot of their sidebar with Quora content highlighted:

Content on Bing works with the general search engine privacy setting on Quora, so if you prefer not to share off of Quora to search engines, that is always an option on your Quora settings page at www.quora.com/settings.
